Derek Boshier
A series of six etchings produced as a co-publication between the artist and Simon Lawson's previous studio incarnation Huguenot Editions.
Simon was introduced to Derek Boshier whilst the etching tutor at the Royal Academy Schools. They worked together on the inaugural RA Schools Publishing Programme project. The success of which developed into RA Editions. This suite of etchings were developed from the initial image Archimboldo which Boshier produced with Simon to launch his gallery and studio Huguenot Editions in Wandsworth with an exhibition In Conversation in 2007. They went on to produce six images in the suite. Other artists in the exhibition included Tracie Emin, Eileen Cooper, Ivor Abrahams and Bob and Roberta Smith.
Simon went on to work with many Royal Academicians in the 15 years that he held the post.
